Welcome to the Morris County Clerk birth and death certificate online ordering system. Online requests for a record with the County Clerk will be processed during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The office is closed for lunch 12-1.
This is an official request for an aspect of the Morris County Clerk's Office. The information contained in this request is considered private. Please complete all information in full and then finalize the order process through payment of the 'order fee'.
You will be notified by email when your document is ready for pick-up.
The fee payment will be paid through Permitium Payments. The charge will show on your credit card statement as 'PermVitalRecs'. This is a secure and trusted provider of payment services.
Please note the following:
- Birth records on file for Morris County and the State of Texas are available back to 1903.
- Death Records are available only for decedents who pass away within the Morris County limits.

The Texas Department of State Health Services requires that all applicants upload a form of identification when submitting their application. Standard Shipping is through the USPS - Regular Mail. This is provided at no cost to the applicant as a courtesy of the Morris County Clerk's Office. Please allow 7-10 business days for your document to be processed and mailed to your address.
You will be asked to select the method of receiving the certificate(s) during the application. You will be notified by email and phone once we have processed your application and the certificate(s) are out for mail or ready for pickup.
